Here in Houston for only a short time and came across this gem. The atmosphere is amazing, you are greeted by a large display of fresh seafood when you walk in the door. The menu was perfect for someone who is there for small bites or a large meal. Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. If ever in the area again, we will return. I highly recommend the sushi rolls, delicious!

This restaurant did not disappoint me. The entire evening couldn't have been planned any better. The food, service and ambiance was wonderful. I was even impressed with the valet service. I will definitely be going back again when I visit Houston.

Arrived around 2:45PM on Sunday. Short wait to order. First time here the service was great they directed us to the ordering stand. I got the chicken caesar salad. It had a good amount of dressing and toppings. However, I think they put too much chicken and the chicken was mediocre, lacking flavor and dry. The chipotle brisket was good. Meat was flavorful and well seasoned. Fries were good. Mashed potatoes were good, gravy was a little salty. The loaded baked potato was huge. The brisket was stale though. Very filling. It was okay. The blackened shrimp was very good. Shrimp was very flavorful and smoky by itself, perfectly seasoned and the butter lemon sauce enhanced the flavor even more.

Let me start off with the atmosphere it was great the vibe was grown and the place has a very calming vibe. The service was superb everyone was very attentive to our table clearing the plates out of the way and making sure you were having a good time! The food was a 10/10 for me everything was super delicious everything tasted fresh and was complimented very well. Highly recommend this place!!

This restaurant provided a stunning backdrop for dinner. The district is full of picturesque spots, especially at sunset, making it perfect for photos. Willie G’s is a cozy, intimate restaurant that was lively and bustling with patrons. There’s no strict dress code, so you can feel comfortable while dining. Just remember to bring your parking ticket for validation to avoid any fees. Our waitress, Cody, was exceptional! She made us feel right at home with her warm hospitality and attentive service. She offered fantastic suggestions for drinks and ensured that our large party never went without service or refreshments. The manager was also very engaging, visiting each table and stopping by to chat with us twice. The food was outstanding, and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. We even took photos of our meals, complete with names to help with your choices! If you’re unsure about what to order, definitely ask your server for recommendations—they're more than happy to assist. I wholeheartedly recommend Willie G’s as a must-visit dining spot. It was the perfect way to conclude our stay on the island, truly saving the best for last!

I decided to visit the Saturday after Valentine’s Day. I don’t know why I thought it wouldn’t be crowded, but it definitely was. I made a reservation and although I had to wait, I was still seated and accommodated in a quick manner. The manager and staff were really nice and hospitable. For my appetizer, I had to try the oysters. The Cajun cowboy and the bourbon street oysters are soooo good !! I personally like the bourbon street oysters the best, but both were really good. The sparkling summer sangria was extremely tasty. If you’re someone who doesn’t drink or doesn’t like the taste of alcohol, I would recommend this drink. It was light, fruity, and refreshing. I really liked the taste of this drink. For my entree, I ordered the broiled seafood platter with the sour cream potato puree. Instead of getting tilapia, I ordered the sea bass. Everything was cooked to perfection. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.

Was in town for business and this restaurant was walking distance to my hotel. Sat at the bar, several gentlemen working the bar area. They were all very pleasant and attentive. The oysters were absolutely delicious, which is what I came for, drinks were great too. Special kudos to Armando & Justin. Thank you for a great evening at the bar. I would definitely return. The restaurant is decorated nicely. Overall a great dining experience.

Everyone was incredibly welcoming—from the valet to the server assistant who kept our waters filled! We were warmly greeted by one of the many managers and promptly seated. Kara, our waitress, was so accommodating and patient as we celebrated my birthday/graduation trip. I couldn’t get the Fluff & Smoke drink, but everything we did order was absolutely delicious. I should’ve known it would be amazing the moment I saw the stunning seafood display at the door. Willow G’s is officially on my must-visit list every time I’m in Houston!
